Contextual Analysis

Women should have never left the kitchen!!!

For my contextual analysis I am addressing the negative side of having women in the work force and why the gender wage gap is nothing more then propaganda. In order to be a critical thinker we must analyze both sides of the argument. With major factors like housing, vehicles, and basic standards of living having DOUBLED since just a generation ago, it's wise to note that this is largely due to dual income households. Women started working and contributing to the household income.  World Wars forced women into the workplace and once they had a taste, there was not turning back.  With double the money coming in, they were able to spend more, so therefore prices increase!  As opposed to a single income household a generation ago was easily sustained with just one individual in the workplace. Dinners were ready on time, children were being taken care of by their mother instead of an alternative caregiver. Life was simpler when Marsha broke her nose, Beaver got into trouble, and maybe Lucy shouldn't have tried to work in a candy factory.
